USW SAMPLE ITINERARY

For the Best Week of your Life

Want An Idea Of What You’ll Be Getting Up To?

No two days are the same when you’re sailing, so we cannot guarantee your itinerary (who wants organised fun anyway?). What we can show you however is a sample itinerary do give you a taste of what to expect during your week.

Day 1 – Trogir

Today is all about arriving, getting to know your crew, and preparing for the crazy week ahead.

Trogir is a historic town located on an island and enclosed by 13th century medieval walls. Spend your day exploring the narrow streets, enjoying the local cuisine and preparing for the first night on your yacht.

Day 2 – Stomorska

After the first night out in Trogir, the sailing adventure will begin this morning. We will set sail towards the beautiful island of Solta. After a couple hours of sailing we can stop for lunch in a beautiful natural bay, jump in the water and have a beer or two (or three!).

After lunch, we will set sail towards our first stop of the trip, Stomorska. Here there is a bay that provides the perfect setting golden hour drinks and parties into the night.

Day 3 – Pakleni Islands & Hvar

Today we set off towards the magical Pakleni Islands, where we will raft up and enjoy a big inflatables party on the water and a spot of lunch. Once we are suitably ‘merry’, we will head to Hvar for the night, where we will find out how it got its name as the new party capital of Europe.

Day 4 – Stari Grad

We will tell you now.. the morning after Hvar is not going to be the quickest start, but after a late breakfast we will set sail to our next destination. A short sail along the coastline offers ample opportunities to drop anchor for a swim and lunch.

Stari Grad, the oldest town in Croatia, has numerous hidden-gem restaurants and bars, so it’s well worth having a venture away from the quay to do some exploring.

Day 5 – Vis

Next up we have Vis Island, a small rocky island which offers great opportunities to rent scooters and explore. The island where they filmed Mamma Mia 2 (yes you can go on a tour!) offers more than just a beautiful backdrop, the sunsets at Fort George are not to be missed, and neither are their parties that carry on long after sunset.

Day 6 – Bol

Today will be regatta day, where your boat and its crew will be put to the test in a race against the rest of the flotilla. The winning team of the regatta will be handsomely rewarded with treasure (or beer).

Previously used as a military base, Bol has only recently opened up to the public. Brac island is home to some of Croatia’s most stunning harbours, as well as derelict ‘submarine tunnels’ begging to be explored. Bol is also home to Croatia’s most famous beach, the ‘Golden Cape’.

Day 7 – Trogir

It’s time to head back to Trogir, to refuel and relax before the grand finale of University Sail Week. Spend the day exploring Split or recovering from your hangovers in preparation for the big final night out.
