SailChecker, UK Based  tech start-up, are the World’s Yacht Charter Search Engine, with over 13,384 yachts, with more than 4,000 showing live pricing and availability – will be the first major search engine to reveal the name of the yacht charter company in their search results.   As of London Boat Show 2015 – that their search results will, for the first time, revealing the name of the Yacht Charter Company; something that will be of great benefit to consumers searching for the best deal.

Chris Lait, SailChecker founder and CEO commenting on this landmark decision has said, “we want to provide a transparent process that demonstrates to our customers our business ethic of delivering value for money while meeting a carefully refined requirement”; in the past most searches withheld this information from consumers, which they believe is unfair and uncompetitive.

This yacht charter revolution began with the launch of their site allowing users to search, compare and book boats in just a few clicks. They seek to add a strong dose of personal touch in the form of advice from their team of seasoned mariners, providing extra options and better prices for customers looking to charter a boat, with or without crew, or on cabin basis.

Yacht chartering is a global industry that generates an estimated £2bn in annual revenues, but it can be hard for customers to find their ideal boat.

Chris said, “There are a number of digital solutions creating opportunities for customers to search and compare yachts, but all have their shortcomings and frustrations. We are determined to improve the way yacht charter is sold online. Our goal is to capture all the available charter yachts in one place without fuss. No longer will customers have to move between sites to search for boats.”

Chris added, “We want to offer a comprehensive search engine, and yes we want clients to book through us, but to remain faithful to our ethic we need to make the case, not withhold information just to capture bookings.”

SailChecker was created to offer customers a better booking experience. The technology combines the data from the fleet operators into one searchable engine with plenty of opportunities to refine the listings and add extras.

The team has spent the last two years refining the technology and integrating all the key industry partners ahead of a hard launch later this year. There are now 250 major operators on the platform and this number is growing daily, opening up new boats and locations.

They are now determined to support their technology with plenty of added value and personal service. The team often create tailored itineraries and add optional extras not available directly from operators. Offers range from holidays for individuals sailing for first time, through to experienced charterers.

The company is exhibiting at the London Boat Show January 9th -18th 2015 alongside the major yacht charter brands. They are a tech start-up that is transforming the charter industry by allowing customers to find and book every yacht on the charter market.
